Here is what we have coming up at KD Theatre Academy. We always have lots of opportunities for young people to get involved with the performing arts, working with industry professionals.
Beauty & The Beast Young Cast Auditions
27th June 2026
Calling all KD Theatre Academy students who would like to audition for this year’s professional pantomime, Beauty and the Beast, at the Maltings, Ely.
This is an EXCLUSIVE opportunity for KD Theatre Academy students, and not open to the public. This year’s production of Beauty and the Beast will be made up of a professional cast and 2-4 groups of children’s casts of between 6-8 young people.
The children’s cast will rotate performances throughout the run of the production. This is a chance to perform in front of thousands of people – an amazing experience they won’t want to miss.
Auditions will take place at the Ross Peers Sports Centre on Saturday, the 27th of June 2026, at the following times:
2pm – 330pm (Junior Dance Auditions for ages 9-11)
330pm – 5pm (Senior Dance Auditions for ages 12-17)

Step Into The Spotlight This Summer
10th – 14th August 2026
KD Theatre Academy is delighted to be providing an exciting, jam-packed Musical Theatre Performing Arts Summer school for young people aged 5-18 yrs! The days will be full of Acting, Singing, Dancing, creativity and lots of fun! Our fun and energetic programme will be taught by our fantastic team of professional teachers and performers!
All young people taking part will be split into age groups as they rotate around the various classes throughout the week! The summer school will take place at The Ross Peers Sports Centre, Soham, from the 10th to the 14th of August 2026.
You don’t have to be a KD Theatre Academy student to take part in our summer school, so come along, meet some new friends, learn new skills and be part of TEAM KD.
